Danger Jones Artistic Toners are progressive, which means that the longer you let them process, the deeper the tone will be. Because they're alkaline, they'll lift the hair while toning, which will eliminate any underlying warmth, unevenness, and/or banding from the lightening process. Their alkaline pH also increases colour longevity. Reach for an Artistic Toner during bleach and tone colour services, as well as grey blending techniques.

How To Use:
  • In a non-metallic bowl, mix 1:2 (toner:developer) with Danger Jones 5 Volume (1.5%) Deluxe Cream Developer and for a softer colour deposit 1:3.
  • Process 5-20 minutes. Shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
  • Artistic Toners are alkaline pH and cannot be used on top of DJ Semi-Permanents which are acidic pH. If you also use Semi-Permanent colour, tone with Artistic Toner first, shampoo, and then apply the Semis-Permanents.
